Mom/Baby Connection

The Mom/Baby Connection, part of the Crozer-Keystone Home Care department, provides in-home nursing care to new parents and their babies within a few days of discharge from the hospital. Mom/Baby Connection nurses are experienced in Maternal/Child medicine and provide services to both mom and baby. Among the services provided are bili tests, wound care, perineum checks and breastfeeding help for moms, and complete health and feeding evaluations for newborns. Nurses can also check for jaundice in the babies as well as other illnesses. Mom/Baby Connection visits are covered by most insurance plans.

Fertility Services

For couples who need advanced assistance in starting their families, the HAN Fertility Center provides leading-edge treatment. The center's specialized physicians, nurses and staff take the time get to know you, your family and your needs. With its phenomenal success rates and compassionate care, the center brings families hope and the miracle of birth. 

Many couples who want a child face the problem of infertility—they have tried to conceive, but have not been able to do so. If you or your partner are infertile and you want to have a child, you should consider having an infertility evaluation at the HAN Fertility Center where our experts can perform an evaluation to find out what is causing the infertility and what can be done to correct it. 

High-Risk Testing Centers

When you’re expecting and facing a higher risk for complications, you want only the best prenatal care. You’ll find it at Crozer-Keystone Health System.

Our technical services include sequential screening, amniocentesis, Level II ultrasound, Doppler flow analysis, fetal echocardiogram, non-stress testing and biophysical profile. We also provide genetic counseling. Visits to the Maternal Fetal Medicine Centers require referrals from a patient’s primary obstetrician or midwife.

Neonatal Intensive Care

Neonatal intensive care refers to the specialized care and treatment of newborns who arrive prematurely or who are born with complications. Generally, high-risk babies are those born before 37 weeks and/or those who weigh less than 2,500 grams (5½ pounds) at birth. Although an expectant mother anticipates a healthy delivery, she can be reassured that at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and Delaware County Memorial Hospital, this neonatal intensive care is just across the hall from the Labor/Delivery/Recovery suites, ready 24 hours a day to respond to possible problems. Crozer-Keystone Health System boasts two state-certified Intensive Care Nurseries:

Perinatal Loss Program

The Crozer-Keystone Health System Perinatal Loss Program offers services to parents experiencing a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or neonatal death.

The program provides pre-hospital phone assistance and special in-hospital services. In addition, Crozer-Keystone offers parents added support from specially trained counselors to assist them with the difficult decisions they must make during this time.
