Financial Assistance Policy
Patients shall be treated without regard to their ability to pay for such care. Crozer-Keystone shall operate in accordance with all federal state, and local requirements for the provision of health services, including screening and transfer requirements under the Federal Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA).
Your financial circumstances will not affect the care you receive. All patients will be treated with respect and fairness.
This policy shall cover medically necessary health care services provided by Crozer-Keystone and does not included non-employed physician and other services provided by outside vendors. Crozer-Keystone is committed to treating patients with emergency medical conditions regardless of their ability to pay.
Assistance is available for medically necessary care. Patients may apply for financial assistance at any time - before, during or after their care.
If you have no health insurance and/or limited financial resources, you may be eligible for free or discounted services. Uninsured patients may be required to apply for Medical Assistance.
If you do not qualify for financial assistance but believe that you have special circumstances, you can request that your case be reviewed by a Crozer-Keystone Financial Counselor.
