Delco Cruisers Deliver Toys, Good Cheer to Crozer-Chester Medical Center

The Delco Cruisers and local Marines gather in the lobby of Crozer-Chester Medical Center prior to distributing their generous donation of toys to pediatric patients.

On Dec. 4, the Delco Cruisers visited Crozer-Chester Medical Center as part of the group’s tenth annual “Cruise for Kids.” Members of the organization dressed up as Santa, Mrs. Claus and elves to help deliver hundreds of toys to pediatric patients at the Medical Center. Representatives from the Responders motorcycle group, Delaware County Motorcycle Riders, Brandywine Riders, FedEx and U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program also assisted with the event.

Participants drove dozens of classic cars and motorcycles onto the grounds of the medical center. The visitors delivered toys to patients in the Pediatrics unit and the Emergency Department.

The Delco Cruisers is a family-oriented, all-inclusive car club, without restriction to year or make of vehicle. The group aims to do charitable work within the community, interact with neighboring car clubs and promote inter-club shows and cruises. Visit www.delcocruisers.org for more information.
