Chief of Gynecologic Oncology

Crozer-Keystone Health Network recently welcomed board-certified gynecologic oncologist Gazi Abdulhay, M.D. to the practice of HAN Gynecologic Oncology, where he is accepting new patients. Dr. Abdulhay is the new chief of Gynecologic Oncology at Crozer-Keystone Health System and he joins Joel Noumoff, M.D., gynecologic oncologist, in the practice.

Abdulhay earned his medical degree from the University of Istanbul’s School of Medicine. He completed an internship and his residency with the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Georgetown University and the University of California at Irvine. He comes to Crozer-Keystone Health System with more than 25 years of experience as a gynecologic oncologist. Most recently, he practiced at Women’s Health and Cancer Center of the Lehigh Valley.

He has a special interest in complicated gynecologic procedures, minimally invasive surgery, and the treatment of endometrial, uterine, ovarian, cervical, and vulvar cancers. Abdulhay believes in working as a team with patients and their families throughout diagnosis and treatment. He is also committed to providing regular updates and ongoing communications with all referring physicians.

Crozer-Keystone’s gynecologic oncologists are experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of pre-malignant and malignant conditions of the female reproductive system, including the cervix, uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, vagina, as well as gestational trophoblastic disease, an unusual complication of pregnancy.

A gynecologic oncologist can perform surgery, administer chemotherapy or recommend radiation therapy, and frequently they choose to combine therapies. Referrals to gynecologic oncologists originate from women’s health providers, oncologists, and primary care physicians, and in some situations, women make appointments directly with the office without a referral.

HAN Gynecology Oncology has convenient office locations in Delaware County at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, One Medical Center Blvd. within the Crozer Regional Cancer Center, Suite 441, Upland, adjacent to the Crozer-Keystone Regional Cancer Center at Brinton Lake, 300 Evergreen Drive, Suite 170, Glen Mills and adjacent to the Crozer-Keystone Regional Cancer Center at Broomall, 30 Lawrence Road, Suite 500, Broomall. To schedule an appointment, call 610-876-9640.
