The Crozer-Keystone Health Network is pleased to announce that its Suburban Primary Care practice has moved to a new location, 4651 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA. Internal medicine physician Sallie Stadlen, M.D. and family medicine physician Felecia Sumner, D.O. are welcoming new patients to their practice.

From basic checkups and well-child visits to chronic disease management (such as diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure), Drs. Stadlen and Sumner provide a trusted and personal brand of primary care medicine to all family members.

Sallie Stadlen, M.D. earned her medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at the Bronx Municipal Medical Center. Dr. Stadlen is board-certified by and a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Stadlen believes that every patient should work with their doctor to take responsibility for their health, saying that “it is better to prevent illness than to treat it.” She sees patients 16 years of age and older.

Felecia Sumner, D.O. earned her osteopathic medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). She completed her residency at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Dr. Sumner is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.

Dr. Sumner’s essential patient philosophy is inclusive of both traditional and alternative therapies and focuses on patient education by explaining medical terms in non-technical language. As a result, patients have an increased sense of personal management of their own health, and family members are welcome at patient appointments. She is particularly interested in medical media and preventive medicine, in addition to women’s health and adolescent medicine. Dr. Sumner sees patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric.

The practice will continue to grow, adding new providers in the coming months. For patients’ convenience, the practice offers extended office hours (including evenings and 8 a.m. appointments), a one-floor layout, new furnishing and equipment, WiFi Internet access and plenty of free parking. All major insurance plans are accepted, and the office is conveniently accessible by public transportation.

To schedule as an appointment with a provider from Suburban Primary Care, please call (610) 356-0300.
