Crozer-Keystone Health Network Welcomes the Physicians of HAN Cardiovascular Group

Ridley Park, Pa. — The physicians of HAN Cardiovascular Group in Ridley Park, Pa., have joined the Crozer-Keystone Health Network, the largest primary care and specialty physician network in Delaware County. The physicians in the group include Samuel R. Ruby, M.D., F.A.C.C.; Howard T. Gitter, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.C.C.P; and Aymen Alrez, M.D. As board-certified cardiologists, they provide a full range of cardiac services, including cardiac catheterization; echocardiogram/stress echocardiogram; transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE); holter/event monitoring; pacemakers and cardioversion therapy; and pacemaker clinics to monitor and support patients with implanted cardiac devices. They also provide testing and monitoring for patients who are taking the prescription drug Coumadin®.

Within their practice, Drs. Ruby, Gitter and Alrez provide a comprehensive approach that includes both preventive measures as well as the latest treatments in cardiac care. All three physicians at HAN Cardiovascular Group are on the medical staff of Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Springfield Hospital, and Taylor Hospital, where Dr. Ruby serves as chief of the Section of Cardiology. Additionally, Dr. Gitter is an assistant professor of cardiology at Drexel University.
