Crozer-Keystone’s Senior Health Services Department to Offer Programs for Local Seniors in August
SPRINGFIELD, Pa. – Crozer-Keystone Health System’s Senior Health Services Department will offer a number of informational programs during the month of August.
Dining at Dusk: Crozer-Keystone is proud to present “Dining at Dusk,” a low-cost dining program that offers free lectures geared toward seniors. Join us for these events in August:
- “Immunizations for Older Adults,” presented by MaryAnne Leonard, R.N., M.S.N., CRNP, Transitional Care Nurse, CKHS Senior Health Services. Wednesday, August 15, 5-7 p.m., Taylor Hospital, 175 E. Chester Pike, Ridley Park. Meal costs $6.00 and includes an entree, dinner roll, a choice of two sides, a fountain drink and dessert.
- “Help for Hoarders: What Really Works?,” presented by Susanne Steinberg, M.D., department of Psychiatry, Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Thursday, August 16, 4:30-6:30 p.m., Springfield Hospital, Café Carl, 190 W. Sproul Road, in Springfield. Meal costs $6.00 and will include a hotdog and a hamburger on a roll, baked beans, potato salad, watermelon, coffee, tea or a fountain drink. AARP Defensive Driving: An eight-hour driving safety course held on two days that can help you improve your driving skills and save you money on insurance. Courses will be held on Tuesday, August 7 and Thursday, August 9, from 12:30-4:30 p.m. in the Lower Level Conference Room of Springfield Hospital; and on Friday, August 10 and Monday, August 13, from 12:30-4:30 p.m. on the 3rd Floor of the Silberman Center of Crozer Chester Medical Center.
