Taylor Hospital Names Osifat/Master Employee/Manager of the Year

Ridley Park, Pa. — Taylor Hospital recently named its Employee of the Year and Manager of the Year at its annual service awards banquet.  

Leslie Osifat was named Employee of the Year. She was the Employee of the Month in March 2011. Leslie joined the Taylor Hospital family in December 2009 as a social worker in the Social Services department. Since then, she has demonstrated her dedication to the social work profession in many ways. She took an active role in precepting new members of the Social Work team, and is a valued member of the Social Work staff. She is articulate, professional and a critical thinker with good problem-solving skills. Leslie is compassionate with both patients and peers and is respected by all who know and work with her. She is an excellent social worker who consistently works above her job requirements to make everyone’s lives better. 

Amy Master, manager of Human Resources, was chosen as Taylor’s Manager of the Year. She served as Manager of the Quarter from March through May 2011. In 2006, Taylor Hospital was pleased to have Amy join the staff as a Human Resources specialist. Since then, she has moved up through the ranks into her current position. Currently, Amy is pursuing her Masters degree in Human Resources at Villanova University. During her time at Taylor, Amy has been successful in creating and maintaining positive and professional relationships with managers and staff throughout the hospital. Amy continually strives for excellence and is truly dedicated to creating a fair and consistent environment for staff.

In addition, at the service awards celebration, Taylor honored the 2011 Horace Furness Taylor Physician Service Excellence Award recipient, John W. Seedor, M.D. Dr. Seedor, who is the chief of the Section of Gastroenterology, has been a member of the Medical and Dental Staff at Taylor Hospital since 1984.
