Frequently, members ask what programs the Healthplex® Sports Club, has specifically for them to help accomplish their goals. The Healthplex® Sports Club has the answer. Its personal training programs are designed to custom fit the needs of the client and make sure they achieve success and reach the goals they set out for. This is achieved by direction and expertise from the highly educated personal training staff.
Maria Sykorova Pritz, Ed.D., a personal trainer at the Healthplex® Sports Club has had a great deal of success working with clients of all ages and abilities, including those who have had challenges in the past with exercise. As a health fitness professional, Pritz feels that physical education is one of the most important educational subjects with a focus on influencing, maintaining and improving people’s physical, emotional and learning abilities. Her philosophy is, “Experience your body the way it is meant to be.”
Pritz works with clients to develop both aquatic and land-based training programs. She has developed a unique training method called the SykorovaSynchro Method, which involves integration of multidisciplinary techniques to achieve overall health and optimized performance. This technique is used to enhance and focus on the communication between the brain and the rest of the body. This helps people to achieve positive changes in their lives — including a new sense of self-awareness, control, stress reduction, revitalization of energy flow, postural alignment and flexibility, circulation, sensory-motor learning ability and creativity. She also researched, developed and optimized an aqua fitness exercise program targeting pain management (e.g., fibromyalgia, post-traumatic stress release and neuromuscular conditioning of athletes).
