Cancer Survivors Day Events Again Attract Large Crowds

Hundreds of cancer survivors and their family members came out to “celebrate life” at Cancer Survivors Day events held at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and Delaware County Memorial Hospital on June 2. Attendees enjoyed remarks by physicians and cancer survivors, awards presentations, entertainment, refreshments and more.

“Celebrate Life” awards were presented to survivors and community groups at both events. At Crozer, Jackie DelBorrello, received the survivor award, and the Power of Pink, Inc., received the community award. At DCMH, Jolene Garney earned the survivor award and Team Rosemary, represented at the event by Tom Cassidy and Christine Martin, received the community award.
