Scholarship Fund Created to Remember Former DCMH Employee

Friends and family of Thomas “Wolfie” Wolfarth recently came together to celebrate and remember the life of the late Delaware County Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services employee. An event held on June 27 at Casey’s Restaurant in Drexel Hill raised $10,630 to establish the Wolfie Scholarship Fund.

The Wolfie Scholarship Fund will sponsor future paramedic candidates of Delaware County Community College’s paramedic program. A selection committee has been formed to review the criteria and to pick the recipient(s) of the scholarship. This program will enable students to complete their coursework at Delaware County Community College and their clinical work within the Crozer-Keystone Health System.

At the event, more than 150 people enjoyed a buffet and drinks. Many guests won door prizes, purchased 50/50 tickets and bought raffle tickets for baskets that were donated by many friends of Wolfarth.
