Delaware County Memorial Hospital and the Crozer-Keystone Health Network are pleased to announce the unveiling of the DCMH Health Pavilion, located at 3030 Garrett Rd. in Drexel Hill.

Newly renovated and housing the primary care practices of Nicholas Busillo, M.D.; Theresa Birardi, D.O. and Colleen McGee, D.O.; and Robert Madonna Sr., D.O. and Adolfo Prettelt, M.D., the Health Pavilion is destined to become a landing spot for many local residents in the Drexel Hill community and beyond.

“Drexel Hill is home to several primary care practices, some that have been in the area for many years,” says William McCune, president of Delaware County Memorial Hospital. “We know that over the last few years the demand for these services has increased, so DCMH and the Crozer-Keystone Health System responded by revitalizing the 3030 Garrett Rd. location and placing primary care practices there. The end result is increased access to care with skilled physicians who truly are compassionate and employ a hands-on approach to their patients’ care.”

These days, access to care is one of the most sought-after things that a patient looks for when choosing a doctor. Most people are overwhelmed with home, work and life responsibilities — and sometimes waiting for a doctor's appointment just doesn't fall in line with their priorities. That’s one reason why the practices at the DCMH Health Pavilion offer same-day appointments. Call before 10:30 a.m. and you will see a doctor the same day — guaranteed.

Meet the Docs

Nicholas Busillo, M.D., has practiced in Drexel Hill for many years. He is an internal medicine physician who earned his medical degree from the Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Busillo provides comprehensive care to patients aged 18 years and older. He feels that communication is the most critical aspect of a doctor-patient relationship. While he is skilled at all aspects of primary care, he takes a special interest in treating cardiovascular disease — including high cholesterol, coronary artery disease and high blood pressure.

Theresa Birardi, D.O. and Colleen McGee, D.O., are family medicine physicians. They provide general medical care for persons of all ages — from infants to geriatric patients — including management of common diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes, child and adult immunizations, well-child checkups, routine OB/GYN care, joint injections, basic skin biopsies and palliative care services.  Both physicians earned their doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Robert Madonna Sr., and Adolfo Prettelt, M.D. are family medicine physicians. They provide definitive care to the family as a unit and are concerned with prevention, health maintenance, and acute and chronic care. Their areas of special interest include geriatrics, arthritis and infectious diseases. Dr. Madonna is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Prettelt earned his medical degree from Universidad del Valle in Cali, Columbia, South America.

The DCMH Health Pavilion also offers plenty of free parking. In addition, the practices offer on-site blood draws, use an electronic medical record system, and accept most forms of insurance. For more information or to make an appointment with one of the doctors, please call (610) 622-7933.
