Jeffrey D. Lehrman, D.P.M., FASPS, MAPWCA, a board-certified Crozer-Keystone Health System podiatrist who is part of the Foot & Ankle Specialists of Delaware County practice, has been recognized as a “Mover and Shaker: One of America’s Most Influential Podiatrists” in Podiatry Management magazine’s June/July 2017 issue. This exclusive list of renowned podiatrists is selected every five years and represents a cross-section of the country and some of the brightest lights in the podiatric profession.

The list is selected by Podiatry Management (PM), a premier national practice management magazine for the podiatric profession publishing weekly articles and features of interest to the podiatric community. “This diverse group ranges from well-known legends to up-and-coming superstars,” states PM on their publication of America’s Most Influential Podiatrists.

Lehrman graduated from Ursinus College in 1997. He then attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, now Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, and completed a prestigious three-year surgical residency at Crozer Keystone Health System. He has been in partnership with Dr. David E. Samuel at Foot and Ankle Specialists in Springfield since 2004.

Lehrman is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and has been named a Fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery, the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management, and the American Professional Wound Care Association.

Well respected in the podiatric community, Lehrman has lectured at medical conferences across the country and in three different countries. He also serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Department of Surgery. Lehrman has authored 17 articles and research papers in different journals and presented 15 research posters with his residents at different conferences.

Lehrman trains surgical residents in the Crozer-Keystone Health System Podiatric Residency Program. He is one of the few podiatrists in the area using the powerful tool of Total Contact Casting to achieve excellent outcomes in wound healing. Lehrman puts this into practice at the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine at Crozer-Chester Medical Center where he is the Medical Director, a staff clinician, and supervises hyperbaric medicine.
