The NIA Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization that offers cultural classes, workshops, and related activities primarily for the children and families of the city of Chester.
NIA (nee-AH) is the fifth principle of Kwanzaa. NIA means purpose.
The NIA Center’s mission is to make as our collective vocation the building and developing of our community in order to restore our people to their traditional greatness.

Our goal is to provide a local facility for the exhibition of art with related presentations, providing cultural awareness and enrichment to the community.
Our commitment is also for the development of supportive services to nurture and promote the arts. We are delighted to have an opportunity to serve our community and truly consider it a blessing as we celebrate our third year as a gallery!
