Caring for Older People (C.O.P.)

A community partnership between Crozer-Keystone, the County Office of Services for the Aging (COSA) and the Delaware County Office of the District Attorney. The primary purpose of the program is to identify at-risk elderly in the community and connect them to the appropriate health and community care resources. Crozer-Keystone staff coordinates this program by educating and sensitizing pre-hospital providers and other first responders to the needs of the at-risk elderly.
In a training environment, C.O.P. provides a very brief assessment tool for first responders to use in identifying these individuals. C.O.P. training is available to all organizations who are concerned with the care of the elderly.
