Meet Our Dietitians & Nutritionists

Meet the professional nutritionists and clinical dietitians from Crozer-Keystone who help to educate patients and the community about healthy food choices.

Christina Brochet, MA, RD, LDN, CDE

Christina Brochet is a new per diem dietitian and will work throughout Crozer-Keystone Health System. She has experience in inpatient, outpatient and community nutrition.  She has a Masters degree from Immaculata University and taught there as an adjunct professor for two semesters. She has a special interest in diabetes and is a certified diabetes educator.  

Danielle Burke, RD, CSG, LDN

Danielle Burke is a clinical dietitian providing medical nutrition therapy and education to patients in Crozer-Keystone Health System’s  hospitals  and rehabilitation units.

Her prior experiences include several years in the Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility setting where she conducted nutrition assessments for all residents and was an active member of wound care management teams. She gave presentations to staff and the community on various nutrition topics. She is certified as a Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition and has a certificate in Adult Weight Management. Danielle stays current in trending health and nutrition topics through self-study and continuing education. 

Danielle especially enjoys the education aspect of her profession and is excited for an upcoming opportunity to conduct grocery store tours tailored toward people with diabetes.

Danielle resides in Media, PA with her husband Ryan and sons Jackson & Alex. She enjoys weekends in the Poconos with her family, Pilates, running 5Ks, supporting her local CSA and farm markets, and talking nutrition with anyone who is interested.

Caitlyn Crosby received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition-Dietetics from Arizona State University. She completed her dietetic internship with the Paradise Valley Unified School District in Phoenix. After passing the RD exam, she began her career in school nutrition in Arizona.

She has since moved East and currently works in school nutrition in the greater Philadelphia-area, and provides out-patient nutrition counseling at Barclay Square and Folcroft Crozer Community Health Centers.

Caitlyn is the newest addition to the in-patient team of dietitians at Crozer-Keystone Health System. She very much looks forward to assisting the residents of Delaware County with their nutritional needs to create life-long positive health outcomes!

Clare Daniels, RD, LDN

Clare Daniels, RD, LDN graduated from Widener University in 1988 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and worked in human resources and staffing for 10 years. 

After her daughters were born, she decided to pursue her love of food and nutrition and enrolled in the dietetics program at Immaculata University. She completed her clinical internship at Cooper University Hospital and officially became an RD in 2011.

 Clare has been at Crozer for three years and is currently completing her master’s degree in Nutrition Education at Immaculata University. She is excited to pursue additional certifications and is especially interested in critical care and nutrition support. 

Working at Crozer has provided her the opportunity to be exposed to many patient populations and she enjoys her work with critically ill patients and building relationships with the entire medical team. 

She lives in Media, Pa with her husband and two daughters and loves to walk in Ridley Creek State Park with her German Shepherd, Finn.

Carole Deering is a nutrition clinician, educator and counselor. She began her career as a pediatric dietitian at Weill-Cornell Medical Medical Center, NYC, where she completed her dietetic internship. Following that, she worked for a national management consulting company.

Carole then started her own corporation that included management, education for corporations, nursing schools and universities plus individual counseling for 20 physicians and psychologists, while she and her husband raised three sons.

She obtained her MS degree at St. Joseph's University then worked for several years as Director of Nutrition for two multi-unit continuing care retirement communities.

After partial retirement, Carole continued teaching at two colleges and now works part time at Crozer-Keystone Health System, mainly at Springfield Hospital.

Judy Dilenno, MS, RD, CNSC

Judy Dilenno has worked as a Registered Dietitian for the past thirty years, with the majority of her experience in the hospital setting. Judy also has experience in the NICU setting and loves learning and expanding her knowledge in this area.

She also is certified as a Nutrition Support Clinician for the past eight years and really enjoys working in the critical care setting.

She has been married for 32 years and has three grown children. She is expecting her first grandchild in May, which is a boy and his name will be Lucas. She cannot wait to meet him!

Her hobbies include jazzercise and running. She started running about four years ago and has run many local 5Ks. For the past two years, she successfully completed the Broad Street Run (a 10-miler).

Lynn Diven, RD, LD, CDE

Lynn Diven is an experienced Registered Dietitian with 15 years of specialization as a Certified Diabetes Educator.

She effectively promotes patient independence by teaching patients self-management skills so that they can live healthier, more productive lives with diabetes. Lynn also counsels patients to monitor their diabetes and problem-solve to achieve target blood sugar control by preparing exercise, nutrition, medication and glucose monitoring plans.

She has been with the Crozer-Keystone Health System since 2007 at the Center for Diabetes, which is an Approved American Diabetes Association (ADA) program. Lynn is a graduate of University of Medicine and Dentistry, Newark, NJ for her Clinical Dietetic Internship and The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. Mary M. Greenhalg, MA, RD, LDN

Mary Greenhalg is a PRN Dietitian for Crozer-Keystone Health System. She has worked for Mary has been a Registered Dietitian for 23 years and has worked for Crozer-Keystone for more than ten years. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree and a Master of Arts degree in Nutrition Education from Immaculata University. Mary is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.

She has experience in the critical and acute care of patients across the spectrum of the life cycle, from neonatal care to the care of the elderly. Mary finds the field of dietetics fulfilling in that it allows her to help people every day.

Cyndi Hoffman, MS, RD, CNSC

Cyndi Hoffman has a BS and Master of Science from Drexel University. She is a contributing author, Nutrition and Diet therapy for Nurses (Tucker and Dauffenbach) , Chapter 21 Renal Disease/Clinical Nutrition and Diet Therapy and Co-author with Jean McAleer Klein:  Relaxation and Visual Imagery Techniques:  Do They Work? Can They Really Help Burn Patients, MedSurg Nursing – The Journal of Adult Health, 19 (3) 169-177, 2010.

She is the former Editorial Board member of the Journal of Burn Care and Research and former Program Committee member for the American Burn Association Annual Meeting. She is the Continuing Education Co-director for the Symposium on Nutrition and Metabolism at the American Burn Association Annual Meeting Chronic Wounds of the Lower Extremity: Performance Measurement Set, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (121:142, 2008), Nutrition member of Multi-Specialty Work Group.

Barb Jaoudi, MS, RD, LDN

Barb Jaoudi has been an RDN for almost 30 years and has practiced in six different states. As Cleveland Clinic and St. Luke's Hospital were the birthplace of dietetic internships, Barb began her career with them in 1984.

Her focus has evolved into home care and home infusion for 15 years, but also keeps up as a CNSC in the acute care setting. Barb even had a stint as an event coordinator for Notre Dame football and basketball teams, even though her home team now is Crozer. 

Kristen Manhardt, RD, LDN

Kristen Manhardt received her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Delaware. She completed her Dietetic Internship at West Virginia University Hospital. 

Kristen has 20 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings, including acute care hospitals, outpatient counseling and immunodeficiency center, rehabilitation and long term care. Kristen resides in Quakertown with her husband and two children.

Amy Messick has been a registered dietitian for 15 years, graduating from West Chester University in May 2000.

She is the registered dietitian for Crozer's Renal Transplant Program and a per diem Registered Dietician for Crozer-Keystone Health System at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Taylor Hospital and Delaware County Memorial Hospital.

She currently covers renal transplant patients at Crozer. She also works per diem at Lifecare Hospital of Chester County, located in West Chester.

She has been married for ten years and is the mother of three wonderful children.

Lorraine Moretti received her B.S. in Nutrition from Immaculata University and worked in food sales for several years.

Her favorite opportunity was working with research and development as a sensory analyst for companies such as Heinz, Godiva, Nabisco and Jimmy Dean. She also worked for NutriSystem as a corporate trainer and center manager while raising her children.

She obtained her MA in Nutrition Education from Immaculata University and returned to clinical nutrition. Since then she have been on staff at Christiana Hospital in Delaware, Union Hospital in Maryland and Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

In one way or another, she has always been involved with food.

Caitlin Pettit, RD, LDN

Caitlin Pettit is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist and is pursuing her Master’s degree in Nutrition Education at Immaculata University. She holds two undergraduate degrees from West Chester University in both Kinesiology and Nutrition and Dietetics.

Caitlin also worked as a Nutrition Care Associate at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and as a Nutritionist for the Delaware County WIC Program while completing her undergraduate education. Caitlin successfully completed her Dietetic Internship through Immaculata in 2013, completing various clinical, community, and food service rotations while continuing to work as a Nutrition Educator with the School District of Philadelphia.

She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Pennsylvania Nutrition Education Network and enjoys living an active and healthy life by also coaching high school field hockey and teaching yoga classes.

Phyllis Rozner, MA, RD, LDN

Delaware County Memorial Hospital has been the professional home of Phyllis Rozner for almost 17 years. She has met a lot of exciting people who have helped her grow in her career.

She has been a Food Service Director, a Consulting Dietitian and a parent to two wonderful sons.

And recently her family has grown by one with the addition of her granddaughter: the joy of her life.

Joy Saudargas is a 2001 graduate of Villanova University where she received her BA in Spanish Language and Literature with a Certification in Elementary Education.

After a few years of teaching kindergarten through high school she decided it was time for a change. She currently attends Immaculata University where she will be graduating in May 2015 with her MA in Nutrition Education.

Joy loves spending time with her family and friends, exercising, cooking, and boating.

One of her favorite things about being a Registered Dietician at Crozer-Keystone Health System is the sense of community and togetherness she experiences within the system.

Karen's education and experience well-qualify her for a position in Crozer's Nutrition department.

Not only does Karen hold a Master’s degree in Nutrition Education from Immaculata University, she also holds an undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sports Science from The Pennsylvania State University.

Karen is board certified in Nutrition Support and recently completed a certificate program in Weight Management.

You are what you eat” is an old adage that summarizes Karen’s philosophy on nutrition.

Rachel Wooters attended Immaculata University and graduated in 2007 with her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. She completed her internship and became a Registered Dietitian in 2008. In 2011 Rachel obtained her Master of Arts in Nutrition Education and in 2013 she completed the Adult Weight Management Course.

She has been with Crozer for six years as the Bariatric Dietitian, recently being promoted to the Bariatric Program Coordinator position.

Rachel has a passion for helping her patients throughout their weight loss journey in any way she can.
