Crozer-Keystone Center for Headache Management
The Center for Headache Management at Crozer-Chester Medical Center provides comprehensive evaluation, treatment and management of headache disorders, the most common being migraine, cluster and tension headaches. The Center also evaluates all types of head and facial pain and provides follow-up and treatment options.
Patients receive personalized treatment plans that take into account their medical history and goals, and include education, awareness, medication and cutting-edge technologies.

Our Physicians
The Center is led by two neurologists with extensive training in the treatment of headache disorders.
Kimberly A. Atkinson, D.O. earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in neurology where she was chief resident. She serves at the director of Medical Student Clerkships for the Crozer-Chester Medical Center Department of Neurology working with medical students from Drexel and Temple Universities.
Roderick Spears, M.D. is board-certified in Neurology and Headache Medicine. He completed his internship at Akron General Medical Center, Akron, OH and his residency in Neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY. In addition, he completed a fellowship in Headache and Facial Pain at The Headache Institute at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital Center, New York, NY.
