Pediatrics in the Emergency Department

Crozer-Chester Medical Center treats more than 10,000 pediatric emergency patients each year, more than any other hospital in the county. That’s why Crozer is proud to offer has board-certified pediatricians caring for patients in the department every day between noon and midnight. The department also guarantees that patients will be seen by a physician within 30 minutes of arrival to the department during those hours.

In addition to pediatricians, Crozer’s ED offers dedicated pediatric treatment rooms. The facility also has a special pediatric waiting room, complete with toys and games, that is located separate from the general waiting room and the main ED patient care area.
