Burn Wound Care Center
The Burn Wound Care Center provides outpatient burn wound management, including daily wound care, physical therapy and patient education, to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and foster shorter hospitalizations.
Our Services
The Burn Wound Center treats patients:
- With acute burns and recovering burns
- Undergoing reconstruction patients
- Recovering from a recent epsidoe of major skin loss or injury syndromes that resemble burns.
The Center also offers:
- Scar management
- Burn reconstruction evaluation
- Connection with a burn-experienced plastic surgeon.
- Comprehensive psychological and social work support system for all ages.
The Center will initiate a school re-entry, a work re-entry or a safety education program for appropriate situations.

Location
The Burn Wound Care Center is located within the Burn Treatment Center on the first floor of Crozer-Chester Medical Center, One Medical Center Blvd., UPland.
Hours
(By appointment only)
Monday and Tuesday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday, 9-11 a.m.
Friday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Patient Referrals
Physicians in all practice settings may refer a patient not meeting criteria for admission to their local hospital or the Burn Center. These patients are able to be treated on an outpatient basis while receiving needed, comprehensive, specialized burn care.
Patients must make an appointment for care and bring all proper referrals and insurance information.
