Medical Imaging Services

Most breast problems are not cause for alarm. However, when a woman finds a lump or has an abnormal mammogram, she wants to be seen by a specialist right away. Crozer-Keystone offers the following diagnostic imaging services:

To schedule an appointment for a medical imaging service at any Crozer-Keystone site, call 1-866-5-CK-XRAY (1-866-525-9729) or access, complete and submit our secure Appointment Request Form for imaging services.

Medical Oncology

Medical oncologists are involved in the care of most cancer patients, working closely with primary care physicians and other cancer specialists to provide primary cancer treatment, continuous follow-up, consultations, and help to create plans for cancer management.

Our medical oncologists use chemotherapy, immunotherapy (including targeted therapy and the use of growth inhibitors), and hormonal therapy to treat cancer.

If cancer is detected in your biopsy, your care will be transferred to the experienced team of physicians and medical professionals at the Crozer Regional Cancer Center. or the Delaware County Regional Cancer Center. Our cancer care teams offers comprehensive services for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and support care of patients.

The Crozer Regional Cancer Center has been approved by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons as a Comprehensive Teaching Hospital. It is also certified by the Association of Community Cancer Centers.

Radiation Oncology

Our radiation oncologists and their teams are skilled in both standard and advanced radiation therapy techniques, which can be used alone or in combination with other treatments.

The exact type of radiation used is determined by the cancer’s location, type, stage and treatment parameters. We offer both external beam therapies, such as Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), and internal radiation therapy, such as high- or low-dose-rate brachytherapy.

In addition, our radiation oncologists treat patients at Philadelphia CyberKnife in Havertown, the region’s most experienced robotic radiosurgery center.

Surgical Oncology

A surgical biopsy is often required to determine whether or not a person has breast cancer, and surgery is often the means by which a tumor is removed.

We are proud to offer the latest procedures and technologies, such as minimally invasive surgeries, sentinel lymph node mapping, neuronavigation, cryoablation and the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System (located at Crozer-Chester Medical Center).
