Family and Friends Support Group

Family and Friends Support Group is open to all family, friends and supports of clients currently engaged in treatment at Community Hospital.

It is a free service that has the following goals:

• To educate about mental illness
• To encourage the involvement of those who support the maintenance of their loved ones' faithfulness to treatment
• To nurture clients' personal supports in their aid as clients acheive their personal goals
• To ease caregivers stressors
• To improve not only the clients' quality of life but family, friends, and outside supports' lives as well
• To instill hope in a safe, compassionate environment where all can voice their concerns as a client helper, family member or friend
