Crozer-Keystone employees at the health system’s hospitals and outpatient sites enjoyed delicious pizza meals last week in celebration of Hospital Week, May 8-14. To feed all of those hard-working employees, Crozer-Keystone’s food services provider, Metz Culinary Management, turned to a local, family-owned business, Pat’s Pizza and Pasta. Pat’s restaurant’s in Brookhaven, Drexel Hill, Ridley and Wilmington, Del., supplied nearly 730 pizzas to Crozer-Keystone locations throughout the week.

National Hospital Week is the nation’s largest health care event dating back to 1921. Hospitals are more than a place where people go to heal; they are a part of the community that foster health and represent hope. From providing treatment and comfort to the sick, to welcoming new life into the world, hospitals are central to a healthy and optimistic community.

Established in 1990, Crozer-Keystone Health System is the largest employer and provider of health-care services in Delaware County. The system comprises five hospitals as well as a network of primary care and specialty practices and the Healthplex® Sports Club.
