Crozer-Keystone Health System Honored by Family and Community Service of Delaware County

Crozer-Keystone Health System was presented with an award for outstanding service to the community by the Family and Community Service of Delaware County (FCS) on Thursday, May 19th at the 7th Annual Family & Community Service of Delaware County Awards Dinner and Casino Night at the Radnor Valley Country Club in Villanova.

Guided by the results of a biennial community health needs assessments, Crozer-Keystone identifies high-priority issues to address and works to affect change through its programs and services, including programs dedicated to women and children, seniors, smoking cessation, cancer prevention and much more. These programs have made differences in thousands of lives throughout Delaware County.

Crozer-Keystone also earned the Foster G. McGaw Prize for Excellence in Community Services in 2014. One of the most esteemed community service honors in healthcare, this prize is sponsored by The Baxter International Foundation, and the American Hospital Association (AHA) and Health Research & Educational Trust.

Family and Community Service (FCS) is a participating Community Impact Partner agency of the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. The Agency is a member of the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities. FCS is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment facility as well as an outpatient mental health facility. For more information, visit www.fcsdc.org.
