  • Bryanne Robson, M.D. from the Family Medicine program receives her award in recognition of an outstanding research project.
  • Kelly Ecker, M.D. accepted this award on behalf of Sara Chowdhury, M.D. from the Pediatric Residency program in recognition of an outstanding case report.
  • Kshitij Thakur, M.D. accepted this award on behalf of Jia Hwei Ng, M.D. from the Internal Medicine Residency program in recognition of an outstanding quality improvement project.

Crozer-Keystone Health System’s Office of Medical Education held its 10th annual Resident Research Day on Wednesday, May 27 in the James E. Clark Education Center at the Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

Resident Research Day was started by Susan Williams, M.D., in 2005. Now a yearly event, it showcases the scholarly work of CKHS residents and fellows with supervision by Crozer attendings. The project categories are original research, quality improvement projects and case reports.

The process requires a collaborative effort including Guy Hewlett, M.D., director of Medical Education for Crozer-Keystone and program directors: Kelly Bradley-Dodds, M.D.; Dina Capalongo, D.O.; Christine Giesa, D.O.; David Hadley, M.D.; William Urbas, D.P.M.; Deborah-Longo Malloy, D.O.; Ashish Rana, M.D.; Mark Saks, M.D.; William Warning, M.D.; and David Webner, M.D.
