Crozer-Chester Medical Center recently hosted an educational conference about the proper care for victims of sexual assault. The event, which was sponsored by Delaware County Women Against Rape through a STOP grant, included police, attorneys, physicians, advocates, crime lab personnel and nurses.

Since 2006, Crozer-Keystone Health System has offered trained Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) nurses at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Taylor Hospital and Springfield Hospital. In April, six nurses completed training, bringing the health system's team to 11 nurses. Crozer-Keystone uses a call system that allows the health system to communicate with each other quickly when SANE nursing services are needed.
