National Philanthropy Day, celebrated on Nov. 15, highlights the accomplishments that philanthropists make to our society and our world. The Crozer-Chester Foundation (CCF) and Delco Memorial Foundation (DMF) recognize and appreciate the generosity of those individuals who give of themselves, donate, volunteer or are involved with a charity or foundation.

The Foundations support the mission of Crozer-Keystone Health System by working frequently with philanthropists and compassionate individuals within its system and in the regional community. Members of each Foundation are grateful for the individuals who offer support through annual giving, planned gifts, special events and their bond of friendship. Since 1984 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and 1990 at Delaware County Memorial Hospital (DCMH), Foundation staff and the respective boards of directors have cultivated relationships with local leaders in the community and regional business to ensure the financial stability of the health system.

“When an individual gives to the Foundations, they allow the physicians and administrators to provide the quality of care that they expect for themselves, their family members and their friends,” says Thomas A. DiLiberto, D.O., chair of Diagnostic Imaging at DCMH and board member of DMF. “In addition, private gifts allow for the infusion of technology and innovation, and allow for continued capital and programmatic improvements which are critical in this healthcare environment.”

The Foundations’ ability to enhance services offered to patients and health system staff is made possible through the generous and thoughtful gifts from friends, colleagues, and in some cases, anonymous donors. Gifts at all financial levels are appreciated. If you share this philanthropic spirit or would like to learn more about the Foundations, please visit or call (610) 447-6311 for the CCF and (610) 284-8782 for the DMF.
