Hedgerow Theatre Company Hosts Grand Opening for Welcome Center, Donates Proceeds to Crozer Regional Cancer Center
On July 9, the Hedgerow Theatre Company in Rose Valley, PA hosted a grand opening for its new welcome center, and the Crozer Regional Cancer Center in Upland, PA was the beneficiary for the evening’s proceeds and additional donations. The crowd of Delaware County Chamber of Commerce members, community leaders and local residents enjoyed the debut of Alfred Hitchcock’s “The 39 Steps” in addition to tours of the upgraded theatre. Raymond J. Vivacqua, M.D., medical director of the Crozer Regional Cancer Center, thanked those in attendance for their generosity and in particular recognized Penelope Reed (Hedgerow Theatre Company), Alex Charlton (Chamber) and Anthony Cavaliere (Republic Bank) for the partnership opportunity.
Over the past year, the Crozer Regional Cancer Center has increased their community partnerships and outreach through a new committee, the Crozer Cancer Project Team (CCPT). This group was formed to helps raise funds to ensure that the programs and services of the Cancer Center continue to provide comprehensive leading edge, accessible and compassionate cancer care for patients in our region.
