CKHS to Offer Free Heart and Stroke Awareness Day Feb. 8 at Springfield Hospital
Crozer-Keystone Health System is dedicated to reducing heart disease, vascular disease and stroke in the communities we serve. That’s why we are proud to offer a free, comprehensive community education event.
This event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at Springfield Hospital. The event will feature a health fair that will include a continental breakfast, free screenings and information about heart disease, stroke, smoking cessation and much more. The informational tables will be available from 8 a.m. to noon.
8 a.m. Free screening for stroke risk assessment, blood pressure and bone density (heel)
8 to 10 a.m. Free Continental Breakfast
Free Glucose and Cholesterol Screenings
Patients are required to being fasting at midnight in order t have the screening done at the health fair.
9 a.m. “Cardiac Care,” featuring Aymen Alrez, M.D., CKHN Cardiologist
9:30 a.m. “Stroke Awareness,” featuring Brad Grayum, M.D., CKHN Neurologist
