Christine Donohue-Henry, M.D. Named Physician Director for Primary Care for the Crozer-Keystone Health Network

Christine Donohue-Henry, M.D. was named Physician Director for Primary Care for the Crozer-Keystone Health Network. Dr. Donohue-Henry will assume these responsibilities in addition to her current role as chair of the Department of Family and Community Medicine.

Board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice, Donohue-Henry earned her undergraduate degree from Villanova University and her medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Christiana Care Health System’s Family and Community Medicine Residency Program. A member of the Crozer-Keystone Health Network, she sees patients as part of Crozer-Keystone’s Center for Family Health practice in Springfield.

She succeeds Susan Williams, M.D., clinical leader of primary care. Dr. Williams has moved into the role of Chief Medical Officer for the Noble Health Alliance. Composed of Abington Health, Aria Health, Crozer-Keystone Health System and Einstein Healthcare Network, Noble Health Alliance is a platform for independent health systems to work together to improve the health of populations through a clinically integrated network involving highly coordinated and efficient care, while remaining attuned to the needs of their local communities.

Dr. Donohue-Henry will provide leadership in strategic planning and management of day-to-day issues for Primary Care within the Network. “We are confident that her knowledge, experience and enthusiasm will help to drive our Primary Care department into the future,” says Williams.

“I am very excited about this new position. I am looking forward to working closely with the primary care physicians and our continuous efforts to move the healthcare system into the future,” says Donohue-Henry. “Especially right now with changes in healthcare and insurance reimbursements, it is important for us to provide that important link between inpatient and outpatient care.”
