Crozer-Keystone’s Senior Health Services Department to Offer Programs for Local Seniors in October

SPRINGFIELD, Pa. – Crozer-Keystone Health System’s Senior Health Services Department will offer a number of informational programs during the month of October.

Dining at Dusk: Crozer-Keystone is proud to present “Dining at Dusk,” a low-cost dining program that offers free lectures geared toward seniors. The program “My Medicare, My Choices: Understanding Medicare and the New Healthcare Law” will be offered at several locations in October:

  • Wednesday, October 16: Taylor Hospital, Cafeteria, 5 p.m. (175 E. Chester Pike, Ridley Park)
  • Thursday, October 17: Springfield Hospital, Café Carl, 4:30 p.m. (190 W. Sproul Rd., Springfield)
  • Thursday, October 24: Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Cafeteria, 5 p.m. (One Medical Center Blvd., Upland)

This informative seminar will feature Sue Bradley, administrative director of Managed Care for Crozer-Keystone, and Margaret Stevens, triage clinician for Crozer-Keystone Senior Health Services. Meal costs $6 and includes an entree, dinner roll, a choice of two sides, a fountain drink and dessert.

“Early Lung Cancer Detection: Why Now and How It Can Save Your Life!” presented by Jonathan Morgan, M.D., Crozer-Keystone radiologist, Media Borough Hall, Mansion Parlor Room, 5:30 p.m.

  • AARP Defensive Driving: An eight-hour driving safety course held on two days that can help you improve your driving skills and save you money on insurance. Courses will be held on Friday, October 11 and Monday, October 14, from 12:30-4:30 p.m. on the 3rd Floor of the Silberman Center of Crozer Chester Medical Center.
