Upland, Pa.-In an all-campus election, Jacqueline Ruggieri, LSW, was recently named employee of the year at Community Hospital. Ruggieri is a therapist in the outpatient child and family therapy department. She received this honor during a recent employee service awards ceremony at the James E. Clark Center at Crozer.
“Her dedication and value for quality patient care is clearly reflected in her client relationships and service delivery. Jacqui continuously strives to increase her knowledge and clinical skills through training and independent research on current treatment modalities,” comments Lisa Moore, LSW, Service Coordinator for the Outpatient Child and Family Service Department.
In addition to her training and experience as an Individual Child & Family and Group Psychotherapy she has extensive training in Parent Child Interactive Therapy; Student Assistance Programming; Truancy Prevention; Anger Management and Advocacy for Diverse Populations.
Moore continues that her awareness and sensitivity to the needs of diverse client populations has enhanced service delivery in overall scope and quality. Her fluency in Spanish and certification as a professional medical interpreter has helped the clinic navigate language barriers and increased retention of Spanish speaking consumers. Ruggieri’s reports from quality monitoring of patient satisfaction surveys are consistently outstanding.
