Crozer-Keystone Marks Lung Cancer Awareness Month With a Range of Events Throughout November

Crozer-Keystone has planned a range of free events in November, Lung Cancer Awareness Month, to 'shine the light' on lung cancer prevention and treatment.

Please see the many events available throughout the month:

Nov. 1, Informational Tables, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m: Kick Off for Lung Cancer Awareness Month. All CKHS hospital will have tables with information about lung cancer prevention in their lobbies. Employees are asked to please wear white. Free soft pretzels will be available.

Nov. 4, noon-1 p.m., Lunch and Learn Educational Program. "Breathe Easy" Lung Cancer Program, in Northeast Conference Room #2 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Speaker: Kerry Clay, P.A., Thoracic Surgery at DCMH. Lunch will be served.

Nov. 7, noon-1 p.m., Lunch and Learn Educational Program. "Breathe Easy" Lung Cancer Program, in Lower Level Conference Room at Springfield Hospital. Speaker: Kerry Clay, P.A. Lunch will be served.

Nov. 13, Dining at the Lake, 5:30 p.m., "Breathe Easy, What You Don't Know Can Hurt You," at Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake, 500 Evergreen Drive, Glen Mills. Speaker: Kerry Clay, P.A.  Light dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. Program begins at 6 p.m.

Nov. 14, noon-1 p.m., Lunch and Learn Educational Program: "Breathe Easy" Lung Cancer Program, in Meeting Room A at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. Speaker: Kerry Clay, P.A. Lunch will be served.

Nov. 20, noon-1 p.m., Lunch and Learn Educational Program: "Breathe Easy" Lung Cancer Program, in Meeting Room A and B at Taylor Hospital. Speaker: Kerry Clay, P.A. Lunch will be served.

Nov. 21, 7 p.m., Educational Program: "Lung Cancer Factors and Screenings" at Marple Library, 2599 Sproul Road, Broomall. Speaker: Kerry Clay, P.A.

All programs are open to Crozer-Keystone employees as well as the community. Smoking cessation information will be available at all events. Pre-registration is necessary.
