Crozer-Keystone Physician to Offer Seminar on Osteoporosis

Springfield, Pa. – Join Barry Jacobson, M.D. and Jacqi Kernaghan, P.A.-C., of the Osteoporosis Center of Delaware County, for “Osteoporosis: Sound the Alarm on a Silent Disease.” The seminar is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 17, at noon in Meeting Rooms A & C of Delaware County Memorial Hospital (501 N. Lansdowne Avenue, Drexel Hill, Pa.). Jacobson and Kernaghan will discuss the following during this informative presentation: The risk factors for osteoporosis and osteopenia; information about the disease of osteoporosis and its treatments options; and how to prevent falls and reduce the risk of breaking a bone. Jacobson is a gynecologist at DCMH and serves as medical director of the Osteoporosis Center of Delaware County.
