Crozer-Keystone to Offer Free Sports Concussion Event

Springfield, Pa. Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Zac MacMath will be the featured guest at the Healthplex®Sports Club on Thursday, May 23 during Crozer-Keystone’s “Keep Your Head IN the Game” event. The event will take place on the basketball courts of the Healthplex® Sports Club, located at Springfield Hospital (190 W. Sproul Road, Springfield), from 6-7:30 p.m.  

Keep Your Head IN the Game is a FREE event about sports concussion that includes screenings, informational tables, a seminar on sports concussion prevention and management, giveaways and more. Specific offerings include:

  • Autograph and photo op with Zac MacMath, Philadelphia Union goalkeeper (player subject change due to availability)

  • Mini balance assessments
  • Mini cognitive testing
  • A presentation by Steven Collina, M.D., chief of Sports Medicine for Crozer-Keystone, “Sports Concussion Update.”
  • Informational Tables:

    • Crozer-KeystoneCenter for Dizziness and Balance

The Sports Club will also raffle off a free week of summer camp, a starter pack of swim lessons, starter pack of tennis lessons and a personal training session.
