Crozer-Keystone Health System and the Rosemont College Ravens Teamed Up For “Pink in the Park” Event

 

  • At their final game of the season, The Rosemont College men’s lacrosse team, the Ravens, helped raise money to be donated to Crozer-Keystone’s Cancer Services.
  • It was a great day to raise awareness of breast health and breast cancer at Crozer-Keystone’s “Pink in the Park” event.
  • Kathy Simons, breast cancer survivor and mammogram technician at DCMH, shared inspirational words before the game.
  • The Rosemont College Ravens and Crozer-Keystone Health System teamed up to “run out the clock on breast cancer”.

 

On April 20, Crozer-Keystone Health System and the Rosemont College Ravens teamed up to raise awareness about breast health and breast cancer at a “Pink in the Park” event.

The event took place at Rosemont College and the men’s lacrosse team, the Ravens, competed in their final game of the season against Neumann University. The “Pink in the Park” event featured a range of activities. Including free breast health information and giveaways, raffles prizes, a bake sale and a concession stand.

Kathy Simons, breast cancer survivor and mammogram technician at Delaware County Memorial Hospital, shared inspirational words before the game. T-shirts were also sold that read “Run Out the Clock on Breast Cancer”.

Proceeds from the event were donated to Crozer-Keystone’s Cancer Services.
