SPRINGFIELD, P.A., February 11, 2013 – First Niagara Financial Group is proud to announce its recent partnership with the Delco Memorial Foundation and Crozer-Keystone Health System. The Bank has committed $10,000 to support Crozer-Keystone’s Passport to Health program. Passport to Health’s mission is to educate and reinforce the importance of good health behaviors and disease prevention among our youth. Since its inception in 2004, Passport to Health has expanded to now serve more than 6,000 3rd, 4th and 5th grade children, throughout 23 schools in Delaware County. For many of these children, this is the only health education they receive.

“The best investment we can make in our communities is to provide for the education and well being of our most precious resource, our children. The Passport to Health program provides education and awareness for our children about the importance of many basic behaviors that are fundamental to living healthy lives. We’re happy to support this terrific program and supporting Crozer-Keystone in their goal of the long-term health of families throughout Delaware County.” said Bob Kane, Regional President, First Niagara Eastern PA.

“We thank First Niagara for its extremely generous support of our Passport to Health program. With this support, we will be able to help provide important health education to hundreds of students this year in the hopes that it will help them to lead healthy lives now and in the future,” says Joan Richards, president and chief executive officer of Crozer-Keystone Health System.

Crozer-Keystone Health System is the largest employer and healthcare provider in Delaware County. For more information, visit www.crozerkeystone.org or call 1-800-CK-HEALTH (1-800-254-3258).
