Tony Salvatore Named Manager of the Year for Springfield Hospital
Springfield, Pa- Tony Salvatore is named Springfield Hospital’s Manager of the Year. He has been with the Crozer-Keystone Health System for 21 years and is currently the director of Facilities for both Springfield Hospital and Taylor Hospital.
In addition, to his everyday duties on the job, he serves as the regional director of the American Society for Healthcare Engineers; he is the President of Pennsylvania Society for Health Facility Engineering, a member of the Health Facility Managers Association of the Delaware Valley and the National Fire Protection Agency.
Gwen Smith, president of Springfield Hospital, describes Tony as “always on the go. Whenever he is approached, he will usually reply by saying, ‘walk with me,’ and listen to inquiries, ready to remedy the situation. Without breaking strides, and with cell phone in hand, he gets on his phone and the problem is solved. He is an asset to the organization and a valued member of our management team.”
