Crozer-Keystone’s Senior Health Services Department to Offer Programs for Local Seniors in January
SPRINGFIELD, Pa. – Crozer-Keystone Health System’s Senior Health Services Department will offer a number of informational programs during the month of January.
Dining at Dusk: Crozer-Keystone is proud to present “Dining at Dusk,” a low-cost dining program that offers free lectures geared toward seniors. The program “A Balancing Act: Improving Balance and Preventing Falls” will be offered at the following location in January. Meal costs $6 and includes entrée, choice of side, dinner roll, dessert and a fountain drink.
- Tuesday, Jan. 14: Springfield Hospital, Café Carl, 4:30 p.m. (501. N. Lansdowne Ave., Drexel Hill) Presented by John Munshower, D.O., CKHS family medicine physician
The presentation will also be offered at the following location:
- Thursday, Jan. 9: Media Borough Hall, Mansion Parlor Room, 5:30 p.m. (301 N. Jackson St.). Presented by John Feehery, M.D., CKHS otolaryngologist

AARP Driving Class, “The Smart Driver”: An eight-hour driving safety course held on two days that can help you improve your driving skills and save you money on insurance. Courses will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 14 and Thursday, Jan. 16, from 12:30-4:30 p.m. in the Lower Level Conference Room at Springfield Hospital. It will also be offered on Saturday, Jan. 11 and Saturday, Jan. 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Classrooms A&B at Taylor Hospital; and Tuesday, Jan. 21 and Thursday, Jan. 23, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Community Rom at Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake. Cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members.
