"Men's Health" Education Program at DCMH on Saturday, April 20

Crozer-Keystone Health System will offer a “Men’s Health” educational program and free screenings on Saturday, April 20, from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the conference room at Delaware County Memorial Hospital, 501 North Lansdowne Avenue, in Drexel Hill.

The event will include a health fair with informational tables about the CKHS lung screening program, direct access colonoscopy screenings, tobacco cessation, nutrition, exercise, cancer prevention, stroke risk, cardiac rehab and sleep disorders.

From 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., free glucose and cholesterol screenings will be offered. Men who are interested in these screenings should not to eat anything after midnight on that day in order to be eligible. A continental breakfast will be available beginning at 8:30 a.m.

At 9 a.m., attendees can enjoy an educational program. There will be speakers on the following: prostate cancer screenings; diagnosis, treatment and prevention of colorectal cancer; lung cancer risk factors and screenings; sleep disorders and heart health.
