Crozer-Keystone Health System Acquires Surgery Center of Pennsylvania

Facility is now known as the Crozer-Keystone Surgery Center at Haverford 

Effective April 8, the Surgery Center of Pennsylvania is now part of the Crozer-Keystone Health System. The facility, located in Suite 212 of the MOB Wellness Center II, 2010 West Chester Pike in Havertown, is now known as the Crozer-Keystone Surgery Center at Haverford, and it is a service of Delaware County Memorial Hospital.

The Surgery Center performs more than 6,500 procedures annually, including ear, nose and throat surgery; gastroenterology surgery (plus colonoscopies); general surgery, interventional pain management; ophthalmic surgery; oral surgery; orthopedic surgery; podiatric surgery; and plastic/cosmetic surgery.

The staff – made up of experienced surgeons, specially trained nurses, operating room technicians and support staff – remains committed to providing the highest quality of care and individualized attention for  patients. The facility features centralized pre-operative, operating and post-operative areas, which create greater operational efficiency and patient convenience. Patients also enjoy a relaxing waiting area, as well as easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. Parking is free.

The Center is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare, Inc.
