Megan Vattilana Named Employee of the Year at Community Hospital
In an all-campus election, Megan Vattilana was recently named Employee of the Year at Community Hospital. Vattilana received this honor during a recent employee service awards ceremony at the James E. Clark Education Center at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
Vattilana is a case manager in the Child Intensive Case Management department at Community. “Megan is a very conscientious employee who is thorough with her documentation in an effort to ensure the medical records for her assigned patients remain 100 percent compliant,” say Anthony Jones, director of Case Management at Community.
In addition to her Employee of the Year honor, Vattilana was awarded the “Charting Champion Award” in February 2012 and the “Above and Beyond Award: Utilization Extraordinaire” in July 2012. The “Charting Campion Award” is given to staff members who are nominated by their supervisor for meeting and exceeding charting requirements for medical records. The “Utilization Extraordinaire” award recognized Vattilana for providing the best quality service to her clients.
Jones continues that “Megan continually engages the patients and families that she works with. She sets a positive example for her coworkers and she is an asset to the Child Intensive Case Management department, and the Crozer-Keystone Health System.”
