Diane Miller Presented with the 2012 Excellence in Leadership Award
Ridley Park, Pa--Diane Miller, president of Taylor Hospital, has achieved numerous accomplishments during her 30-year tenure at Crozer-Keystone Health System. She was instrumental in bringing new services to CKHS and Taylor, including the Crozer-Keystone Sleep Center at Taylor Hospital, and Crozer-Keystone Hospice Residence at Taylor Hospital (which opened earlier this year). “My goals are simple,” Miller says. “My team and I look to identify needs within our community, and with the help of Crozer-Keystone’s senior administration, implement them at Taylor Hospital.”
Miller has also played a major role in the establishment of the Crozer-Keystone Senior Health Services department more than 10 years ago. The professionals of SHS help seniors cope with the many health and lifestyle changes they may come across as they age, and act as a referral source for needed programs and services.
On May 17, 2012, Miller was rewarded for her strong commitment to the community when she received the 2012 Excellence in Leadership Award from the Friends of the Delaware County Women’s Commission. This award recognizes a female CEO or COO of a business with 15 or more employees in Delaware County who exhibits exemplary leadership.
Each year the commission strives to enable local women and girls to achieve their personal and professional goals. The purpose of the commission is to empower women and girls to achieve their fullest potential by promoting their full participation in the economic, political, and social life in Delaware County. Miller has set the bar on expectations for the rest of the Crozer-Keystone community. “It is an honor to be recognized by the Friends of Delaware County Women’s Commission,” Miller says. “While I am humbled by their recognition of me, I feel we all have a responsibility to provide meaningful programs and services to our patients.”
