Crozer-Keystone Health System Still Taking Donations for Thanksgiving Food Drive

Springfield, Pa. – As you count down toward the big day (Thanksgiving, that is), Crozer-Keystone Health System would like to remind you that we are still accepting donations for our Holiday Food Drive. Our mission is to help as many people as we can to put a meal on their table on Nov. 24.

As you prepare your list for this year’s Thanksgiving feast, include a few extra cans of vegetables, cranberry sauce and boxes of stuffing (or other items such as powdered baby formula, cereal, canned meats, and peanut butter and jelly) for Crozer-Keystone’s Thanksgiving Food Drive. You can even donate a $10 gift card to a local grocery store.

All donations are being accepted in the marked bins located in the Main Lobby of Community Hospital in Chester, Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill, and Springfield Hospital in Springfield. Crozer-Chester Medical Center, in Upland, has a bin in the Lobby of the Professional Office Building, and Taylor Hospital, in Ridley Park, is collecting items in a bin located outside the Volunteer Office. For security purposes, all locations will be under video surveillance.

Local food pantries will distribute everything we collect to the people of Delaware County who need it most: Community Action Agency/Chester Food Shelters; Life Center at 69th Street, Upper Darby; and Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry, Prospect Park.

As a reminder, Crozer Keystone is collecting non-perishable food packaged in cans, boxes, or plastic bottles/jars (no glass, please).
