Dialysis Access Center to Present Free Lecture About Diabetic Kidney Disease at Crozer on Jan. 12

Join Roy Marcus, M.D., Crozer-Chester Medical Center nephrologist, for a free lecture about “Diabetic Kidney Disease” presented by the Dialysis Access Center at Brinton Lake. The lecture will take place on Thursday, Jan.12, at 5:30 p.m., in the Clark Education Center at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, One Medical Center Blvd., Upland.

At this informative presentation, the following topics will be covered:

  • What are the kidneys?
  • What functions do the kidneys perform?
  • What is chronic kidney disease?
  • How is chronic kidney disease staged?
  • How does diabetes mellitus affect the kidneys?
  • How can we control the progression of chronic kidney disease?
