Gynecologic Oncologists Now Treating Patients at DCMH
Experienced Crozer-Keystone Health System gynecologic oncologists Joel Noumoff, M.D., and Justin Chura, M.D., are now treating patients at Delaware County Memorial Hospital.
The fellowship-trained physicians, whose main office is at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of women with pre-malignant and malignant conditions of the female reproductive system.
Among the services that will be available to gynecologic cancer patients:
- Comprehensive surgical services ? including fertility-preserving surgery, performed at DCMH, and da Vinci robotic radiosurgery, performed at Springfield Hospital.
- Working in conjunction with Delaware County Regional Cancer Center physicians, chemotherapy (including intraperitoneal chemotherapy) and radiation therapy.
- Personalized care and support services through the Delaware County Regional Cancer Center.
“We are excited to take on an expanded role at our sister hospital, DCMH. We look forward to caring for women in the DCMH community as well as building upon the strong working relationship we have established with DCMH physicians,” says Noumoff, who is the chief of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
Each patient’s treatment plan is determined specifically for her, based on the type of cancer, the size of the tumor, the stage of the cancer, the age of the patient and other factors.
“On behalf of the DCMH medical staff and the Delaware County Regional Cancer Center, I am glad to welcome Dr. Noumoff and Dr. Chura. They are both well-respected physicians who are excellent additions to our team,” says John D. Sprandio, M.D., chief of the Section of Hematology/Oncology at Delaware County Memorial Hospital and medical director of the Delaware County Regional Cancer Center.
