What's New at Crozer-Keystone Health System?
MS Center for Caring
Crozer-Keystone recently opened the Multiple Sclerosis Center for Caring at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, a comprehensive and multidisciplinary center designed to meet the unique needs of multiple sclerosis patients and their families. Located on the second floor at Crozer, the center provides integrated care, diagnostic and treatment services, and various complementary services related to living and thriving with MS. The center is led by physicians Bradley Grayum, M.D., chief of the Division of Neurology at Crozer; Joan Sweeney, M.D., medical director of the MS Center; and Pasquale Brancazio, D.O., Crozer neurologist. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call (610) 874-1184 or visit http://mscenter.crozer.org.
Through the New Moms/New Parents Project and Healthy Start, Crozer-Keystone Health System is proud to offer the Text4baby service. An educational program of the National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition, Text4baby is a series of free weekly text messages for pregnant women and women with a child up to one year old.
Each week, participants will receive a short tip about how to care for their child at that age. Messages are timed with the baby’s due date or birthday. Topics include car safety and seatbelts, immunizations, nutrition, safe sleeping, smoking cessation and more.
To register, women can either text “Baby” to 511411 or register online at www.text4baby.org. They can stop the messages at any time, and the service is also available in Spanish.
