Women's Wellness May 2010

CKHS New Moms/New Parents Tip of the Month

Now that it’s almost summertime, you’ll probably be spending a lot of time outside.  Protect yourself from diseases caused by mosquitoes and ticks. Use insect repellent containing DEET. Wear clothing treated with permethrin, long-sleeved shirts, and pants tucked in your socks. You may also want to wear high rubber boots since ticks are usually located close to the ground.
