Respiratory Therapy Services Announce Changes to Pulmonary Rehab and Pulmonary Function Testing
Respiratory Therapy Services announces changes to Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Pulmonary Function Testing effective April 7, 2014.
Crozer-Chester Medical Center will no longer provide pulmonary rehabilitation services. These services have been consolidated to Springfield Hospital. Pulmonary rehabilitation patients at Crozer will be referred to Springfield. This location provides patients with easy access to therapy in a clinical environment.
Pulmonary rehabilitation requires a referral from a physician. Talk to your physician to determine if you can benefit from pulmonary rehabilitation.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation is located on the ground floor with Physical Therapy, 196 W. Sproul Road, Springfield. For more information, call (610) 328-8834.
Pulmonary Function Testing
Pulmonary Function Testing has been consolidated to Crozer-Chester Medical Center and Delaware County Memorial Hospital. Springfield Hospital and Taylor Hospital no longer perform pulmonary function testing and now refer patients to the other two locations. Talk to your physician to determine if you can benefit from pulmonary function testing.
Non-Nuclear Stress Testing
Non-nuclear stress tests will still be performed at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Springfield Hospital and Taylor Hospital. Call 1-866-95-PULSE (1-866-95-78573) to schedule an appointment.
CKHS Doctors Earn Main Line Today “Top Doc” Awards for 2013
More than 180 Crozer-Keystone Health System physicians were recently named in Main Line Today magazine’s “Top Doctor” listings for 2013. The magazine bills the listings, which can be found in the December issue, as its “annual guide to the best practitioners on the Main Line.” Physicians in 24 different specialties were honored by the magazine. A few physicians were mistakenly overlooked in the original listing in the March issue of the Journal.
Congratulations to Rhonda Cornell, D.P.M., podiatry; Julian Gladstone, M.D., cardiology; and Michael Negrey, M.D., ophthalmology. Visit www.crozerkeystone.org for the complete list.
