How Crozer-Keystone Health System Can Help You with the Affordable Care Act
If you’re ready to get on board with the changes in the Affordable Care Act but you need help making your insurance selections, Crozer-Keystone Health System is here to assist you in two important ways:
First, Crozer-Keystone has created the Health Insurance Marketplace Resource Guide for patients, providers and the community on its website, www.crozerkeystone.org. This resource guide provides helpful information about the new law, what is covered, how to enroll, etc. — all in one easy-to-navigate location.
Also, Crozer-Keystone is among the select organizations to be designated as a Certified Application Counselor Organization by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This means that people who need help selecting their health coverage can contact any one of our five hospitals and speak with a Crozer-Keystone counselor who has been individually trained by CMS: Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Delaware County Memorial Hospital (DCMH) in Drexel Hill, Springfield Hospital in Springfield, Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park and Community Hospital in Chester. Phone numbers and hours of operation for the counseling service can be found within the Health Insurance Marketplace Resource Guide on the Crozer-Keystone website, www.crozerkeystone.org; for general phone inquiries, people may call 1-888-525-4772 option 3.
“Crozer-Keystone Health System is committed to helping its patients, community and providers navigate through the questions surrounding the Health Insurance Marketplace,” says Richard Madison, vice president of Corporate Revenue Cycle Services at Crozer-Keystone. “We understand that the new changes can be confusing. As Delaware County’s largest health system, we are dedicated to going above and beyond to make sure that people have the support they need to understand their choices and get the coverage that is best for them.”
