Chances are, someone in your life has battled cancer—whether it’s you, your family member or a friend. Take part in the fight against cancer by forming a team to participate in the Eagle National Bank 5K Walk/Run to Fight Cancer. Run or walk in support or in memory of a loved one who fought/is fighting the cancer battle.
“I know a lot of people who look for ways in which they can help their family members or friends in their battle with cancer, and this is a great opportunity to do so,” says Marie DeStefano, administrative director of Oncology for Crozer-Keystone Health System. “The money raised during the walk/run goes directly to the programs and services offered by the Delaware County Regional Cancer Center, which helps our friends, loved ones and neighbors in this community.”
This year, it’s even easier to form a team using the walk/run’s brand new website. To form a team, you simply visit http://bit.ly/ENBWalkRun and click on the “Register” button. After agreeing to the terms and conditions of participating in the walk/run, click on “Start a Team.” From there, you can choose a team name, a fundraising goal, and the number of team members who will be joining you.
